Cold, No Cooking, Very Easy and Fast: tuna and tomato piadina rolls, a tasty summer cold dish to be prepared in a few minutes without turning on the oven or stove. Tasty stuffed piadina rolls, perfect to serve as an appetizer, as a main course or for a finger food buffet, especially in summer!
Very few ingredients: wraps, tuna, tomatoes and mayonnaise. Nothing is cooked, but if you want you can make wraps at home with the original recipe for wraps without lard: soft wraps with olive oil stuffed with tuna cream and tomatoes for a fresh summer dinner.
To make them lighter, suitable for a balanced diet, you can use a creamy or spreadable cheese instead of mayonnaise: robiola, crescenza, stracchino. Sliced tomatoes, chopped tuna seasoned only with mayonnaise, without oil, and fresh green salad leaves, to be enriched with anchovies, capers, slices of cheese. The wraps do not even have to be heated but, if you have difficulty rolling them, you can heat them for a few seconds in a pan or in the microwave.
Ingredients
2 sticks
4 Tomatoes (coppery or San Marzano)
160 gtons with olive oil
2 tbsp mayonnaise (or spreadable cheese)
4 leaves green salad
fine salt
Wash the tomatoes and cut them into very thin slices. Put them on a napkin in order to dab the excess water and prevent them from getting too wet the swivels.
Drain the tuna well from the olive oil, chop it well and add the mayonnaise or cream cheese. Wash the salad leaves and dry them well. Put the salad on the flatbread, the tomato slices and the tuna with mayonnaise.
Roll up the wraps tightly and wrap them in a sheet of cling film. Put them in the refrigerator for half an hour, then unroll them and cut them into 2 cm slices with a sharp knife.
The rolls of piadine are ready to be tasted. If you prefer you can also store them in the refrigerator until ready to serve and then cut them.
